Campbells'....Sort of Homemade Soup

You can use a creamy based soup or tomato based
Today I made homemade soup...kind of.  A wonderful habit I have gotten into of making homemade soup and adding a can of store bought to it make a great soup.

The following ingredients work great.  Today I used a small pan and diced the following vegetables: onions, carrots, celery, green pepper and potato.  The spices I have at hand are thyme, basil leaves..crushed, garlic powder.  Add all these ingredients to a small amount of water and bring them to cook until the potato is soft enough.

Add the can of soup and this is so good!  I have been making this homemade sort of soup for weeks now for our small bowl at lunch time.  Along with that we share sandwich...one half each, a few crackers, and small glass of Coke or Pepsi.  Today she said "You make a nice lunch, just the right amount".  So happy I can prepare a nice tasting and healthy lunch for my 93 years young client.

Looks similar to this

Try this soup this way if you'd like for your children and family.  It's great.  It is always either fresh or enough to eat for up to two days say.  Then I start over and make a different kind with the same basic base vegetables.  It works with a creamy milky soup and/or a tomato based soup.  Very good!

Thanks for reading and passing on if you'd like!  And any comments are appreciated and welcomed.

I sit down and eat each meal with my client.  We talk about things and it makes their lives better.  Treat them with kindness and love just the way you would like to be treated if it was you or a loved one of yours.

Happy caregiving!

Love!
